The balloon is manufactured by Lindstrand Balloons. Nett buoyancy is 4.5 tonnes. Don't ask what happens if the cable snaps (I was told rapid ascent/pop/rapid descent). A 15 minute ride costs 12 pounds (Jan 2000). The balloon is no longer at Vauxhall Gardens (March 2002).
